What you receive

One preparation bottle containing a measured 300 g dry refill. Fill the bottle as directed to make 500 mL of calcium solution. Water is not included, keeping the parcel lighter and reducing leakage risk in transit.

Why reef tanks need calcium

Hard corals and coralline algae use calcium as they grow. Regular testing shows whether your aquarium is consuming calcium and helps you make measured corrections without unnecessary dosing.

Preparing and dosing

  1. Read the complete directions before opening the refill.
  2. Add suitable water in the order and volume stated on the label.
  3. Allow the bottle to cool fully before final preparation and use.
  4. Follow the supplied dosing table, then retest your aquarium.

The table below assumes the full refill has been prepared to a final volume of 500 mL, producing approximately 160 mg of calcium per mL.

Test first, make adjustments gradually and retest. These figures are a dosing reference for the prepared solution, not instructions for correcting an aquarium without testing.

Use and care

  • Test your aquarium water before deciding whether calcium adjustment is needed.
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed and dry until preparation.
  • Read the preparation directions before adding water.
  • The bottle becomes hot during preparation; allow it to cool completely before use.
  • Never add the dry refill directly to your aquarium.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.
